MVA. 596 posts · Joined 2015. #5 · Jun 9, 2017. Yes you need to have a GS911 to reset the service light. Or take it to BMW. With the GS911 you can set it so the next service light will come on at the year 2050 or at 65000km. This is what I did anyway. Save.
Press the start button to the on position without starting the vehicle. Do not press the brake, accelerator, or clutch.
