Re: VW Taigun 1.5L needs oil top-up just 3500 km after service. This is fairly common in 1.5 TSI engines to take extra 800ml - 1L in the first 10,000 Kms. My Kushaq 1.5 TSI also had the same where I had to top up additional 1L at 11,000 Kms. I've observed this with Virtus and Slavia as well in my group.
