If you were considering converting your nitro savage to Flux power with the handy HPI kit, it could be too late. After calling MS for an update on my back ordered kit, they nice chap on the phone called HPI who said they'd discontinued it.
Neither truck is what I call budget friendly. The T-Maxx and Savage X is more than enough truck to have all kinds of fun with. In the long run, the HPI will outlast the Traxxas in wear and tear. The Savage Big Block engine will run and tune better. Ease of use, the Traxxas wins but not as durable either.

The Rival also looks bigger than the Flux Hp and looks like it could handle more of a beating. I really have always looked for an honest opinion from someone who owns a Flux HP to let me know how it holds up. Thanks for your post Buddy!
